week2/Connectives

Learning in a digital age

In the twenty years, Siemens maintains that technology has changed the living and the way of communication and learning. Siemens provides a significant concept in the learning which guides me to deeply concern about the learning in a digital age.

. Learning can be occurred in many ways by network.

.Learning is all about knowledge. “Knowledge is “out there”, “knowledge is interpreted”, and knowledge is constructed”. Knowledge is in the community.

As a learner, in my point of view, the connectivism puts emphasis on learner’s abilities. The learners are able to apply their knowledge for the community; on the other hand, the learners can get knowledge from the community. The learner and community have a close connection in the digital age.

I really appreciate your comment that connectivism puts the emphasis on the learner's ability to ingest, digest and form knowledge from the information. Your comment that the learner and the community need one another is an aspect of connectivism that can produce groundbreaking results as long as the collective community sufficiently regulates the accuracy of the information being expressed.

Thank you for the concise description!
