week3/Reflection / Learning in the Digital Age

In the article " Learning in Digital Age" by John Seeley Brown points out that the way of learning is changed. "Learning is a remarkably social process”. In the digital age, the learners learn, create, and respond the information via the complex media. The new technology is instead of the traditional textbook. In the past most teaching methods were based on a lecture basis. We must move far beyond the traditional view of teaching as delivery of information. The Internet and other technologies help students and educators who reach their highest potential. Technology and new media support learning.

The way students learn has shifted, so educators have felt the need to adapt.

I think in the digital age, the students learn the new way of learning. The new technology changes the learning environment. The student and educator need to adapt the way of learning and teaching.
